Depuis 1999, il <strong>enseigne le cin\u00e9ma<\/strong> (histoire, th\u00e9ories, pratique, analyse de films) au <strong>D\u00e9partement Arts de l&rsquo;Universit\u00e9 Bordeaux-Montaigne.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ses recherches portent notamment sur le cin\u00e9aste s\u00e9n\u00e9galais <strong>Djibril DIOP Mamb\u00e9ty<\/strong>, le dramaturge suisse <strong>Friedrich D\u00fcrrenmatt <\/strong>et les soci\u00e9t\u00e9s postcoloniales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Th\u00e9oricien du cin\u00e9ma compar\u00e9, auteur de plusieurs articles et conf\u00e9rences, Thierno Dia a coordonn\u00e9 avec Olivier Barlet le num\u00e9ro sp\u00e9cial de la <strong>Revue <\/strong><em><strong>Africultures<\/strong><\/em><strong> (Paris, mars 2009) <\/strong>consacr\u00e9 \u00e0l&rsquo;\u00e9crivain-cin\u00e9aste s\u00e9n\u00e9galais <strong>Semb\u00e8ne Ousmane<\/strong>, dont une version en italien.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Critique <\/strong>de cin\u00e9ma \u00e0 <strong>Africin\u00e9 Magazine<\/strong> dont il est le <strong>R\u00e9dacteur en chef<\/strong>, il a anim\u00e9 de 2003 \u00e0 2011 le <strong>Cin\u00e9 Palabres,<\/strong> cin\u00e9-club mensuel de l&rsquo;association Cin\u00e9ma Africain Promotion et de la Mairie de Bordeaux, \u00e0 la Biblioth\u00e8que Municipale de Bordeaux-M\u00e9riadeck.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Il est responsable de la mise en page et r\u00e9dacteur \u00e0 la Revue <em>20<\/em><em><sup>\u00e8me<\/sup><\/em><em> Parall\u00e8le<\/em> (Bordeaux).
